BEFORE SENDING YOUR FILES
We prefer to receive electronic files in PDF format. Please Contact our support department for assistance. We can also accept native documents also. Please see our software list for supported programs. All files sent to us should be either Zipped or Stuffed to insure their integrity through the transfer process. If you are sending multiple uncompressed files, please place them all into ONE .zip or .sit file.
GRAPHICS
ALL graphics must be included with your desktop publication. Images should be no less than 300dpi at their placed size, and vector/line art should be between 600-1200 dpi at their placed size. DO NOT EMBED OR STORE GRAPHICS IN YOUR PUBLICATION. For images to print their best, they must have a highlight of no less than 3%, and a shadow of no greater than 90%. This can easily be adjusted in Adobe® Photoshop under "adjust curves". Halftones should not be scanned from a printed source, otherwise your image will moiré. Images should be supplied as Photoshop "TIFF" or "EPS" in either grayscale or CMYK formats. Vector/line art should be supplied as "EPS" files. Please do not send RGB images they will not separate properly. We can convert your RGB images with advanced notice. If you are supplying art for us to shoot or scan, please give explicit instructions for placement and sizing. Using a low-resolution "FPO" in your document works best as a guide for placement).
FONTS
PLEASE INCLUDE ALL FONTS used in your publication (even if it is HELVETICA; not everyone's HELVETICA is the same)! We turn off all of our fonts and use only your fonts to process your publication. This ensures proper kerning and flow of text throughout your publication. If you need assistance in packaging your fonts, please let us know. If you are sending us a PDF file, please make sure that the fonts are embedded in the PDF.
HARD COPY
Please send or fax the LATESTprint out of your publication. This way we can match your electronic file to your supplied lasers. If they are not the LATEST VERSION, then we will not know if you've made changes and we will not be able to process your job immediately causing unwanted delays.
